The Dream Dinner Party — A New Mini Episode from Desert Island Dishes

We’re excited to introduce a new mini episode series: The Dream Dinner Party. These short, focused episodes are designed to be a delightful post-dinner treat that keeps you company through the week. Each installment asks one simple, inviting question: who would you invite to your dream dinner party, what would they eat, and what would they drink?

Format and Idea

The format is intentionally short and easy to enjoy. Every week a different guest joins us for a single, centred conversation. They may choose up to four guests — living or deceased — and explain why they’ve chosen them. Alongside the guest list, we ask about the menu and the drinks so you get a full picture of the imagined gathering: the starters, the main course, desserts and the beverages that bring it all together.

Featuring Sophia Money-Coutts

In this episode, we speak with Sophia Money-Coutts. Sophia is a British journalist and novelist who writes regularly for The Telegraph and is the author of five novels. She has been described in the press as the new “queen of rom coms.” Her most recent book, Looking for Love, is out now and is discussed during the conversation.
