S’mores Martini Recipe: Chocolate & Toasted Marshmallow Cocktail

This S’mores Martini combines chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and graham-cracker flavors into a smooth, dessert-style cocktail. It tastes like a boozy campfire treat in a glass—rich, creamy, and fun to serve. Serve chilled with a toasted marshmallow garnish for a playful finish.

For other seasonal dessert cocktails, try the Pumpkin Spice White Russian or the Pumpkin Pie Martini for cozy fall flavors.

If you love chocolate martinis, this s’mores version is an obvious next step: white chocolate liqueur adds sweetness and body, creme de cacao brings chocolate depth, and marshmallow-flavored vodka lends the classic campfire aroma. A Golden Grahams or graham cracker rim and a drizzle of hot fudge complete the picture.

This cocktail works wonderfully for summer gatherings, backyard parties, or anytime you want a dessert in a glass. It’s quick to prepare, easy to scale up for a pitcher, and brightens any occasion with a nostalgic twist.

Pair it with simple treats or other dessert-style cocktails such as the Brandy Alexander milkshake, a sugar cookie martini, or a key lime colada if you’re offering a variety of sweet drinks.

Tips for Serving

Chill the martini glass before pouring the cocktail. A cold glass keeps this creamy drink at the right temperature longer and improves mouthfeel.

When making a hot-fudge and cereal rim, warm the fudge just enough to be spreadable. A thin, even layer will hold the crumbs without dripping. Press the crushed cereal gently into the fudge for a tidy, crunchy rim.

Swirl rather than vigorously shake the cocktail if you use cream-based liqueurs. Vigorous shaking can cause some cream liqueurs to cling to ice and lead to separation; a gentle swirl blends the ingredients without over-aerating them.

Make a batch ahead when entertaining: combine the spirits in a pitcher and refrigerate. Fill and chill glasses at the last minute, and add the cereal rims and marshmallow garnish right before serving for best texture and presentation.

Substitutions and variations: whipped-cream or vanilla vodka works well if marshmallow vodka isn’t available. Crushed graham crackers can replace Golden Grahams cereal, and chocolate syrup can be used on the rim if you prefer a different texture.

S’mores Martini (Easy Cocktail Recipe)

Author: Kimberly Vargo
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 1 Serving

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Golden Grahams cereal
  • ¼ cup hot fudge sauce
  • Handful of ice
  • 2 ounces white chocolate liqueur
  • 1 ounce crème de cacao
  • 1 ounce marshmallow vodka or whipped cream vodka
  • 1 large marshmallow (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pulse Golden Grahams in a food processor or crush them in a sealed bag with a rolling pin until finely ground. Pour the crumbs into a shallow dish.
  2. Warm the hot fudge sauce briefly so it spreads easily, then place it in a second shallow dish.
  3. Dip the rim of a chilled martini glass into the warm hot fudge, then press the rim into the crushed cereal to coat. Place the glass in the refrigerator to chill while you mix the drink.
  4. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the white chocolate liqueur, crème de cacao, and marshmallow (or whipped cream) vodka. Gently swirl or roll the shaker to combine the ingredients and chill the mixture.
  5. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass and return the glass to the fridge briefly if needed to keep it cold.
  6. Moisten a wooden skewer, thread the large marshmallow, and carefully toast it over a flame or with a kitchen torch until lightly blistered. Rest the skewer across the glass rim and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Calories are an estimate for one 4-ounce martini with marshmallow garnish and will vary with ingredient brands and portion sizes.
  • If you can’t find marshmallow vodka, vanilla or whipped cream vodka are excellent substitutes.
  • Chocolate syrup will work for the rim but may be thinner and less able to hold the cereal crumbs than a thicker hot fudge.
  • Crushed graham crackers are a great alternative to Golden Grahams cereal.
  • Without a food processor, place the cereal in a large zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin until fine.
  • The toasted marshmallow garnish adds visual drama and aroma, but it’s optional if you prefer not to torch anything.
