A few days ago I shared my most-visited post: a free cleaning schedule designed to help you build a cleaning routine that fits your life. Today I’m sharing the same system in an even easier format.
Think of these daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule printables as an alternative way to organize that system. The content is the same—you’ll just find it arranged for quick use and straightforward tracking.
Daily & Weekly Cleaning Checklists

Start with the first page: the daily and weekly cleaning schedule. This sheet is the foundation of the whole system. Each day you’ll check off morning and evening tasks, and once per week you’ll complete a designated weekly task. The evening section includes a quick reminder to help you add one weekly task each day.
Daily Cleaning Tasks
Under this system, complete the following every day:
Mornings:
- Declutter for 10 minutes – Set a 10-minute timer and tidy anything that needs attention. Keep going until the timer ends, then stop.
- Empty the dishwasher – Start the dishwasher at night (even if not completely full) so it’s ready to empty in the morning.
- Make beds – Everyone makes their own bed to keep bedrooms tidy with minimal effort.
Evenings:
- Declutter for 10 more minutes
- Load & start the dishwasher – A nightly start creates a clean slate for dishes each morning.
- Clean the kitchen – Wipe counters, put away leftovers, and sweep or vacuum so the kitchen is back to its morning state.
- One weekly cleaning task – Choose the task assigned to that weekday (see below).
- Two to three monthly tasks – Add small monthly chores as time allows.
Weekly Cleaning Tasks
Each day includes one weekly task that repeats every week. Assign these tasks to the same weekday so the routine becomes automatic.
- Monday: Outside areas
- Tuesday: Wipe and dust surfaces
- Wednesday: Clean refrigerator and pantry
- Thursday: Vacuum and mop floors
- Friday: Clean toilets and bathroom sinks
- Saturday: Laundry
- Sunday: Rest day
Monthly Cleaning Schedule Template

Next are the monthly routine pages. There are five monthly pages in total. Use the first four every month; they divide the home into zones—kitchen, living areas, bedrooms/outside, and bathrooms/closets—so you handle a different zone each week.
Some months include a fifth week. The fifth “odd week” page covers tasks to be done about four times a year. Each monthly page lists tasks at the top and has space at the bottom to assign tasks to specific days. This flexibility allows you to pace your work around busy days or weekend plans.
